Four-Day Magic School Immersive Experience Runs February 3 - 6, 2022
CHICAGO, Illinois -- Moonrise LARP Games, the premier Live-Action Role Playing (LARP) theatrical production company in North America, today announced details of ALBION SCHOOL OF SORCERY, an immersive, four-day three-night adventure experience February 3 - 6, 2022 at the gothic DeKoven Center in Racine, Wisconsin.
Inspired by the worlds of “Harry Potter,” “The Magicians,” and “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.” ALBION SCHOOL OF SORCERY brings magically-gifted players to the fore of an epic battle against the evil Black Fox and his allies - but first they’ll need to learn to master their skills. Under the tutelage of The Magisters, players will choose which courses they wish to take, including Spells & Charms, History of Magic, Magizoology, Apparitions, Time Magics, Mystical Botanicals, and more.
The all-inclusive weekend experience includes three nights’ stay at The DeKoven Center, a sprawling Gothic 1800’s estate; catered meals; custom character creation with Moonrise Games’ Game Master; materials needed for selected courses; and a wand and wizard robe customized to the House the player has chosen membership in. ALBION SCHOOL OF SORCERY will be Moonrise Games’s sixth blockbuster LARP event held at The DeKoven Center.
Tickets for ALBION SCHOOL OF SORCERY cost $750 and are available for purchase at https://www.albionschoolofsorcery.com. A payment plan is also available at the website. All venues are ADA accessible, and meals provided will have options to accommodate dietary restrictions. For more information, including full world and non-player character (NPC) descriptions, visit https://www.albionschoolofsorcery.com/.
Proof of vaccination is required for all players, performers, and production staff. Hand washing stations will be available throughout the venue, and hand sanitizer will be provided to all players. Capacity for ALBION SCHOOL OF SORCERY will be limited to 40 participants to enable social distancing, and additional protocols may be implemented based on federal, state, and local guidance.
